We are delighted to welcome Maximiliano Cristiani and Ayse Gencalp to Brisbane on 21-25 March.
Maxi, the 2013 world champion, is a master of the Villa Urquiza style in which the most important characteristics of tango are connection, fluidity and elegance.
You can see Turkish-born Ayse dancing with with Maxi in the fabulous short film “Angel”
This is a golden opportunity to learn from two exquisite dancers and teachers.

Gala Milonga
We will hold the Gala Milonga for Maxi and Ayse on Saturday, 23rd March in the Carson Room, Mt Gravatt Bowls Club,
It’s going to be a great night with:- Dancing from 8:00 until 11:30 pm
- Great music from DJ Wendy
- Bar services
- A not-to-be missed performance
- A light supper to ensure you keep up your energy levels for all that dancing.
- Bistro dining is available at the venue before the milonga from 5 – 7:45 pm. Pre-booking is recommended (Phone 3349 2367)
Booking and prices
We’ve kept prices very affordable to allow you to immerse yourself into
Maxi and Ayse’s workshops. We will keep the ratio of leaders/followers equal. If numbers are out of balance you may go onto a waiting list, so get in early. Another way to avoid the waiting list is to enroll as a couple. If you do enroll as a couple you can choose to work together in the workshops or swap around as you wish.

Private classes with either Maxi or Ayse are 110 euros (about $182) for one person or a couple. Email us to schedule your class.
